I had an order this weekend where the client wanted cupcake for a strawberry theme. I also got the opportunity to use 2 new jumbo icing tips that I found at a restaurant supply company. Needless to say, I LOVE them! :)

Father's Day Cupcakes!

Happy Father's Day to all you dad's out there! I got the sports ball idea out of my brand new Martha Stewart's Cupcakes book. :) If you have an interest in baking, and want to learn some new ideas and techniques (not to mention KILLER recipes) you should go pick up a copy from your local bookstore. It's such a great book!

Mod Monkey Cake and Mod Monkey Cupcakes!

I completed this order last Friday for an old family friend who's daughter turned 2 on Saturday. This was my first request for a monkey cake and I was so excited to create it!

More "Thank-You" Cupcakes!

The last time I made these custom inserts, I got alot of positive feedback from the customers- so much so that one client ordered them special! The last time I made the inserts I paired them with chocolate Monarch butterflies. To switch it up a bit, I made these daisy flowers out of fondant and I really like how they turned out. Very summery! :)

Angel Food Cupcakes!

These are a wonderful option if you are on a diet. Angel Food is naturally 100% fat free and I topped the cupcakes with Lite Cool Whip and fresh strawberries. Each cupcake is less than 100 calories!

Graduation Cupcakes!

I made these this past weekend for a client who was throwing a graduation party for her friend who just graduated from Brewer High School in Fort Worth. (Go Bears!)

The bottom of the caps were miniature Reeses cups (with the paper still on) and the tops were made out of black dyed fondant and blue piping.

I custom made the 2009 cupcake toppers. You can't really tell from the pictures but the stickers were very glittery. These are double chocolate gooey browines with a ganache topping and white piping.
